Ciao, mi chiamo Giuseppe Mongiello

 Ciao, mi chiamo Giuseppe. Vivo per la mia famiglia e per il mio lavoro. Della prima non parlo, per ora. Sono troppo riservati in casa e se la prenderebbero. Quindi, meglio di no. 😉

Per il resto, questo è il mio curriculum, raccontato per come lo racconterei agli amici.

Sono nato nel – sigh – lontano 1963, ma voi non lo direste mai, eheh. Ho studiato nella mia Venezia, laureandomi in  Economia e Commercio, corso di Economia Aziendale, presso l’Università “Ca’ Foscari”. Sgobbai come un pazzo, ma riuscii a farlo a 23 anni, con il massimo dei voti. A casa fu gioia, io ricevetti qualche bel regalo e poco dopo già ebbi le mie prime esperienze. Sono dottore commercialista dal 1991 e l’anno dopo sono stato iscritto al Registro dei revisori contabili. Sono stato presidente e membro di diversi collegi sindacali di società per azioni di rilevanza nazionale, corrispondente Master BA della Westminster University ed oggi dell’Imperial College di Londra. Membro di comitato per le iniziative produttive in Cina, componente board europeo settore NFP e docente di diritto tributario all’Università Marconi in Roma. Ho lavorato in E&Y come managing partner responsabile dell’ufficio di Roma dello Studio Legale Tributario associato. Posso darvi un’idea illustrandovi qualcuna delle mie esperienze professionali nei settori Exploration & Production , Refining e Marketing, Gas & Power, Engineering & Construction, Petrolchimico e altri ? Ok, grazie. 🙂

Giuseppe, born in Venice (Italy), 1963, joined Ernst & Young in year 2000 as partner of the Legal and Tax office associated with Ernst & Young

He is responsible for the Italian Tax branch of Ernst & Young, with reference to the Aerospace & Defense sector. He has been responsible also for Government and Public sector and he holds the responsibilities for the Central Western European Area – re the People’s Republic of China

Giuseppe’s background spans from serving the Italian Tax Police and Inspection force, to founding his own auditing, legal and tax firm in the early 90s. He then became member of the MAC Intyre Strater International Ltd network, based in London

He has a degree in Economics (1986) and is a Certified Public Accountant (Dottore Commercialista) and a Certified Auditor (Revisore Contabile). He frequently delivers lectures on fiscal matters at various international conferences and seminars, both in Italian and English

He cooperated with the Oxford Brookes University, with the Imperial College in London and has been appointed as Professor to G. Marconi University in Rome

He also published and presented a number of papers on cutting edge tax matters and public sector reforms

From 2007 he has the role of managing Partner of the Rome Office and he has been appointed as Global Tax Account Leader for a global leader in Aerospace and Defense. Since 2008 he has been member of the Italian Market Committee.

Giuseppe’s main activities are focused on International and Domestic Tax and, as an expert in the Aerospace and Defense sector. He  is committed to assisting both clients and colleagues in developing new tax ideas/solutions for inbound and outbound investments in Aerospace and Defense

Giuseppe is the Climate Change and Sustainability tax leader for Ernst & Young in EMEIA (Europe, Middle East, India and Africa). His responsibilities include working with global clients in the climate change industry, structuring a team throughout EMEIA with the capabilities and resources to offer exceptional service in the industry and  interfacing with the local and global teams.

He coordinates a global team of professionals and partners with many years of experience in the field of International tax law, on day-by-day operations and extraordinary transactions both in Italy and abroad

He is fluent in both Italian and English
